Can't make route

I downloaded the demo of TG and I can't seem to make a route.When I click on the 2nd station I get an error and it says that the 2 stops aren't linked.What am I doing wrong??

You have to build the rail first. The station can then only be built on that.

It forces you to network.

Press and hold down the ENTER-key while placing the station and you can start as many new routes you want.
Can sometimes be a little tricky but it works
