No diagonal rails :-(
No diagonal rails :-(
I read it in the german TransportGiant forum:
They are planning to use a four-way railway layout, so all curves will be 90°, no diagonal tracks like in TT They say, it wouldn't look as good and it would be too confusing for newbies...

What's paradox? A computer that freezes because it's too hot!
I've been reading the forum a bit and I stumbled upon this qoute (from Hans Schilcher):
In English (oh man I'm kind):
With the roads it will give the "traditional" 90 degree curves. Everything else is optically simply not feasible - would not look good. With the rails we test two systems at present: a 4-way system (like IG2) and an 8-way system. At present the 8-Weg-System leads to points (?)
And as far I could check: the 4-way rumour was NOT posted by anybody from the development team but just from a forum member (albeit a senior member) who was discussing a rumour.
