I havnt played IG or Railroad tycoon much.. but only 1x, and I didnt like it.. TTD is 100x better IMO =)

anyways... I already voted without knowing what the 90degree turn meant.. so I downloaded IG2 to find out... I willl NOT buy TG if the turn tracks are like what they are in IG2.

but what about Railroad tycoon I or II.. I remember the curve tracks being pretty good on that game... why not just use turns like that game.

first I need to see it before I believe it. These guys probably played TT and know what we as TT players would like to see in these games. And TT players are common, extremely common...

if they played they should know what is important in TTD ... GAMEPLAY !
I think even they played they are not TTD fans ... and person who is not TT fan won't create a good TT Clone

90 degree curves is a limitation of the engine, since the very first IG. TG is based on IG2 one, which doesn't support them anyway.

now, converting the game to allow diagonal rails would meet with total rewriting the rail systems, even map structures probably (not mentioning about the path finding and object's movement)

there is a very strong difference in providing only 4 line directions and 8 one

will the fix it? I don't think so.

They shoud have to wrote the engine from scratch :/

I don't really care on how smooth the curves are, as long as they are 45 degrees long. :(

Yea i suppose , i wodl love a game with those graphics but that played exactly like TT, but with all the industries they are adding , and larger maps , plus they need heights like TT. I suppose something like that would be down to chris sawyer?
