Signals?

Can't figure out how they work in Transport Giant Tycoon.
Hope that someone over here can help me!?

Tried to install TTD on my vista laptop but it didn't work.
Anyone running TTD on Vista?

There are no signals in transport giant, when you set the train destinations, follow the track when you select the destination, and click each junction to set the direction the train goes. Be careful though, everytime you add an extra junction, the train will reset to the shortest route.

I remember there being signals. They just aren't very useful is all.
