Of course it costs money, the programmers don't do this for fun only, but also to earn their bread.
Transport Master will be free off course, and much better.

like all JoWooD productions, but I don't think it will be very expensive

Well they wouldn't put it up for sale for free! Waste of time and no profits!

As for the download, the game looks so nice & detailed, so this could take a long time to download.
