Oh good grief, what's wrong with diagonals? All this effort to draw great pictures of the vehicles and they can't spend a few more weeks of coding to let things go at 45s?

no ships in TTD can also turn 45 degrees (and 90+45) but in TG there will be only 90

Wonder why the city doesn't grow on the other side of the tracks. Has anybody ever seen railroad crossings in TG?

Your right all buildings appear to be on the opposite side of the track, not just in this pic but in nearly all the ones i remember seeing.

I bet they forgot to do railroad crossings, and the towns don't build bridges, so if you do train tracks, the town is stuck in a corner. Hmm.

One reason why there might not be buildings on the other side of the track on this ss might be the river? Just guessing of course...

Wouldn't you want to build your houses next to the river? Unless it's really badly polluted of course, but even then you'd get the poor living there.

I think it's because the built a city and placed a station without wanting to demolish buildings, and then the only place you can go to is on the outskirts of the city.

Maybe their town-growth algorithm isn't working yet, and they just plonked down the town and the station as-is.

I consider this a transportation game, that meaning it's not comparable with anyhting from the SimCity series.

Of course TG won't have buildonslopes, they don't have any slopes for you to build on.

Does anyone know what the circled things are?
It kind of looks like signals for each section of the station, but with both lights on (which wouldn't be very helpful obviously).
So any ideas?
