monorail problems

Does anybody know why that if i try and build a monorail or maglev
it doesnt allow me to build one

Maybe you should wait till the time it allow you to build one. For trains you've to wait a long time, and for monorail/maglev you've to wait longer, how long I don't know, because I have'nt came in the time you can build monorails.

to build a maglev/monorail railway you have to wait until the first maglev/monorail engine is produced (~2000+). its the same with electric overhead

you can build standard rail in any year

all you do is add the monorail to a train station or when placing a station
down hold enter and it will allow you to build it

Do this, but remember it should be linked to your rail system
