Wow, that almost makes me want to play simutrans again, the subway system in simcity was so short lived, But that, THAT seems promising.

pak64 that would be I guess as that is the size of OTTD tiles. Maybe you could make a new thread in the OpenTTD section posting your current sprites etc. I think you may be able to find a coder real soon then, and if you don't I can start learning to use pngcodec when I finish up another project
Just post in the OTTD graphics section with this and you will get A LOT of responce. I think there are far more people who like the comic style better than those rendered graphics for OTTD, at least I do

Indeed, I think a lot of potential coders don't pay attention to the Simutrans forums. Bringing the comic pack under their attention by advertising it a bit in the OpenTTD graphics forum would probably be a good idea.

(slightly OT) This comic pak convinced me for downloading simutrans - only - Sourceforge seems to be down, it can't find the files or the mirrors. Are there alternative downloading places?

Seeing the screenshots, I thought I would give this pak a play.
Absolutely loved the graphics!
Within the first year of my gametime, I had a new industrial chain start, creating 11 new industries, all in the same corner of the map. I could connect many of the industries by simply making a freight station! I immediately lost all my desire to play this...

The pak96.comic is made for very easy gaming. There is also a setting in the file "simuconf.tab" called factory_spacing. Default is usually 6. You can increase this value to avoid having too close factories.

For windows just use the installer; it will install the latest release.
