Simutrans game speed is too fast (Windows 2000, AGAIN!)
Hello!
I'm using the very latest Simutrans and I have some problems in Windows 2000:
-Game speed is too fast (can I change it?)
-640x480 resolution option makes game run in an window
-the cars act strange: once I click start (with a schedule already), hear the sound, but... WHERE'S THE DAMN CAR?
Hope help

The article is mostly about speeding up, but slowdown is also explained.
Resolution change:
try the -screensize XxY option if X=640, 800, 1024 or 1280 it shoudl open fullscreen. Other values open windows.
simutrans -screensize 640x480
If that doesn't work on your system I can't help.
About the cars: I'm not sure if I understand what you want to tell me. If you talk about depots, vehicles (all of them, not just cars) will need upo to 20 seconds to start moving out of the depot. This was improved in Simutrans 0.81.29exp and 0.81.30exp. If you have an older version, maybe upgrading helps.

-screensize 816x600SHADOW-XIII wrote:so maybe you can create -w 800x600 (because I can't run Simutrans in that resolution in window)
The 16 pixel difference shouldn't do any harm. If you're brave, try
-screensize 802x600
But only multiples of 16 are officially suported. Odd numbers won't work for sure.
