well, you don't have to wait anymore! :D

I've also uploaded the american set, with a bunch of santa fe styled vehicles, ranging from 1830 to 2010.

remember the city set will overwrite the standard residental.pak, so sorry, no loading of old games.

this sets are meant to work together with latest version of both pak128 and simutrans executable.
Some sets just add some variation to existing things, like new streets and tracks, but in reality they ar all meant to substitute full parts of the original release, i.e, residental.pak will replace original residential buildings, and if you install the Dutch vehicle set , freight set and european RV, you should really delete the original vehicles.player.pak, because the overcrowdiing depot, teh difference in style, and teh uncompatibilty of allignment in rail. the only drawback is that there are no ships yet (YET! :) who knows)

then how should i do it? make a new screenshot page with some general shots, or some per set?
Anyway, with my scruffy modem this could be a pain :D
but i'll try to get some nice images. (my game is in 1830,, so a bit to go still)

I've got some problems, I installed:
- latest Simutrans WIN+64pak (according to latest post at the forum)
- 128pak
- all your graphics

and when I start Simutrans, the command console window display some problems but the game runs, but while in game I am positive that at least building set does not working ...would be good if someone could made 1 ZIP file with all needed things that will be 100% working ...

Per set would be the best IMO. Another possibility is something like a vehicle list (with small screenshots of course).

Shadow: I've tried to reproduce what you say in your e-mail.
Try to follow the steps:
Clean installation of simutrans, also pak128
Extract residental.pak from the cityrenewal rar file, and paste it in the simutrans pak128 dir, it should overwrite the original one, which is 4,28 MB, then , after starting a new game, you should see all residential buildings replaced with the new ones. Industrial and comeercial are still original.
About the words in the command console, they're always there :), and i believe they're not errors. (AFAIK)

To install tracks and roads, i suggest removing the old ones, but try to keep rillenchienen , concrete tram and powerline.

To install vehicles i suggest removing original vehicles.player.pak. And try not to mix NS set and American set, because that will overcrowd the depot. YOu'll need the cargo set to carry freight. And the NG set is independent, so install if you like. The RV set is also needed for road transport.

I hope it works if done this way, it did to me, if not, i'll have to do some research.

maybe you could do something like new landscape tiles for Simutrans?
atm the landscape tiles look very undefined, and a bit ugly.
