Hi there,
I'm a fanatic of porting, like you see. We already managed it with OpenTTD, you can read it here and everywhere in the PocketPC Forums over the world!!! Since Simutrans also Freeware. How about porting it, too?
Thanks,

Maintaining several versions is time consuming, also building and releasing multiple versions.
Currently Simutrans must be built on three systems, BeOS, Linux and Windows. This means to reboot the comp at least twice and uploading three archives to the website. I'm not very keen on additional work for each release.
I want to wait until Simutrans is almost finsihed before I try to port it to new OSes and hardware.
OpenTTD as a open source project definitely has an advantage here.
