Currently the biggest obstacle is that none of the dev team members has an Apple Macintosh to work with. If you want, you can buy one and sent it to me. I'lll then take care of a port :)

Just kidding. No, we don't have plans to do a Mac port now. Maybe later, once Simutrans is almost complete.

hey guys, since hajo has retired, what is the likelyhood of a macintosh port? i have a mac, and would be happy to assist but i have no idea how to code, let alone port a whole game :)

Thank you. But honestly, these are 115000 lines of code, so if you have never coded, you won't find the right ones easily. Actually, we had also requests from people, who could code, but they gave up too.

Maybe, maybe, I will buy an MacMini this year (or how this breadbox is called). And another developer is currently working on the loading routines. Therefore, a Mac-Version seems not too impossible. Just don't hold your breath.
