Plans are underway to allow the bot to ban the users it flags as spammers without my intervention. Once the code is finished and verified, it will be getting it's own username that you may notice as being online. Once the username is decided I will announce it here.

How about just the TT-Bot? It doesn't need a super catchy nickname :P

That will likely be it pending concerns from orudge. I don't know what I should be using for my user agent string though. Calling it a bot in the user agent makes the forums serve me a different forum to the one we enjoy in a browser, so it currently pretends to be chrome so I get the full forums that the specified user would normally see.

I take all that user agent stuff back now that I have experimented more.

robobot now has the power to ban all those pesky birthday spambots. However please don't ask it questions via pm as it can't respond.
