I keep getting logged out

For like, years, I stayed logged in just fine. But now, almost every time I visit the forums, at first it shows as if I'm logged in, but as soon as I click on a forum/topic/reply, I'm suddenly not logged in no more. What's up with that?

I'm more inclined to suspect a quirk of your browser, rather than of the forum software itself...

Have you tried clearing your cookies, on the forums at least? And are you using any kind of anonymisation software or similar?

Hm, that's odd; for whatever reason tt-forums was in the cookie exceptions, blocked. I sure don't remember making such an exception. Well, my mistake.

phpBB should, in theory, work without cookies enabled. You'll simply have an SID added to every link. However, going back to www.tt-forums.net without a SID would reset your session, and [url=] links to other pages on the forums, without a SID, would likely also break it.

It continued for a while after my previous post, but now seems to have resolved itself. Whatever it was, I appear to stay logged in again.
