That would mean a lot of work, I have to look for all possible files and download them to my pc, then create many new topics and upload the same files once again
This means my postcount will annoy people, I waiste the space because it's double

This is a private forum paid by 2 young men who are not that professional

It's well organized, the special topics are sticky, when you look you will find it

This way we force you to search and stay a bit

I can understand your question because I know how your connection time is limited and you don't have the time to search and read everything

But sorry

In short: all important download links are in my sig, it contains all various members sites where you can find every download !
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

Heh, thanks! ;)

I agree with spiff here - while we wouldn't have to download all the files (we could simply copy and paste the URLs or I could knock up some sort of script), it would be rather a lot of work. All our main download topics are sticky, so easy to find (although there are many pages on some of them).

What may be a good solution to Ashleys suggestion is adding a topic (or something more easy-to-access?) on the top of the page with links to sites were downloads can be done. Like that, you don't "have" to create a unified download area, but to visitors it is instantly clear where they can look for downloads.

Well, that does exist - look at the Download Locations topic in the General TT forum. Or are you meaning a link to that from every page or something?

No, I was more thinking in links to URL's where you can download graphics and such, like these:

http://www.ttdpatch.com/
http://www.radlix.com/~dxl/ttdur.htm
http://www.csucsposta.hu/csaboka/ttdtrans.htm
http://www.patagonia.de.vu/ttd/
http://marcel.afentoe.nl/

Of course, not everything can be found on those pages, but the majority is to be found there.

Oh, ok. Sorry spiff  . I don't have any other suggestion for this forum then. I like it as it is. Plain and easy, just what a forum should be!
