Please take this project ahead. Many of us have wanted to see a 3d ttd like this.

Patience, something like this doesn't happen overnight... or you could help.

Here's a list of things you could do:
  • Learn to program (if you already haven't). Start programming on TE;
  • Draw graphics and/or 3D models;
  • Produce music for the game
  • Produce sound effects for the game;
  • Make scripts for various things in game;
  • Donate money (servers, artists, coders). Please note that artists and coders are expensive, so if you want a full time coder on this, it's going to cost you.

At the moment there are only two people(An00bis and Uzurpator) working on this, so it's going to take a while. You could either accept that or help them out a bit.

Great to know this is still being worked on :mrgreen:

sitting very patiently as i have neither the skill to help or the money to contribute :(
in awe of the skills An00bis and Uzurpator (and a fair few other peeps around here) :bow:

In my mind i see a cross between Locomotion and Trains & Trucks Tycoon or was that Trucks & Trains Tycoon? lol great game despite not being finished but anyway i digress as i was saying a cross between those 2 with the add-on ability of open ttd :)

whatever the reality i am sure it will be fantastic

One has to be rather dense to not see that it is much easier to request that a project be taken ahead is much easier than concrete participation in the project's progress,but the expression of interest,or evidence that interest persists despite the passage of time,may have a motivating effect on those with the necessary skills.So why disparage it?
