Project License

Hey, this was never officially decided on earlier, but it needs to be.

The license of our project, will be GPL. Looking at the website, we should use GPLv3.

Does anyone have any points against this decision? If so post them below. If not, in a weeks time I will make it official.

Just say NO to the TT fan-art sprite licensing madness. Public domain your art as well.

Don't we need to specify a version number? That's more the point of this discussion, that noone is against us upgrading to version 3?

Yes, you need to specify a version number. You also need to decide whether its "version 3" or "version 3, or, at your option, any later version".
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
