Since I am nearing a more-or-less working land display I would like to know what should I start doing next. Vote & discuss
All art and vehicle stats I authored for TT and derivatives are as of now PUBLIC DOMAIN! Use as you see fit
Just say NO to the TT fan-art sprite licensing madness. Public domain your art as well.

Trees & Vegetation and Airplanes are eyecandy compared to Terraforming so I voted Terraforming.

Hello.
The first two options (trees, terraforming) are both good ideas for a next step. However, terraforming is more important for further development. So I voted for it.

I voted other, as I think that the gaps inbetween the sea and the seabed on the edges of the map should be filled in with the water texture, so water doesn't appear to 'float' in mid air

Terraforming is of course important, but I voted other. The game is going to need to have user interface parts to it, including interacting with the grid. I'd like to see some tool implementing for this interaction, such as selecting tiles, building something, etc, for at least a proof of concept.
Then you can use some kinda of tool mentioned there to do said terraforming.

Skip the eyecandy, get something useful working. One such thing would be a user interface which shows above which tile the mouse is hovering. The next step could be a simple window which shows the raw internal information of a tile.

Terraforming as it is mostly connected to land
Trees should be after that
Aircrafts are long from here
