Couple of things before the big show!

Belarus have seemingly had their jury vote washed out, after they revealed their votes: https://metro.co.uk/2019/05/18/belarus- ... s-9597380/
The running order for tonight released by Eurovision: https://eurovision.tv/story/eurovision- ... rand-final

Dangit, I just found out that Logo is not carrying ESC this year! Allegedly it's because of low ratings (77,000 US viewers last year) but I'm guessing that they're participating in the boycott of Israel.

Anybody got a functioning live stream I can try? I don't care if it's not in English.

Eurovision themselves may do a stream, they did for the semi finals.

edit: here is the Youtube stream, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dsx4pVjUth0 from the ESC Youtube channel

I've also found translated into English lyrics, here are Icelands they're... interesting. Although the title of the song is 'Hate Will Prevail' so...
[+] Spoiler
Debauchery unconstrained
Hangover uncontained
Life’s purposeless confusion
The void will swallow all

Hate will prevail
Every joy derail
Just treacherous illusion
Fraud, futility

[Chorus]
All that I saw
Tears ran raw
All that I gave
That I once gave
I gave you all

Universal obfuscation
Unilateral execration
From gullible delusion
Escape will be curtailed
The void will swallow all
Hate will prevail
And Europe’s heart impale
Burn off its web of lies
Now from the conflagration
Rise in unity

[Chorus]
All that I saw
Tears ran raw
All that I gave
That I once gave
I gave you all

Hate will prevail
Love to no avail
I gave you all
Hate will prevail
Every joy derail
I gave you all
Just treacherous illusion
Fraud, futility
Hate will prevail

Nope, North America is locked out again. Pity, we used to be able to watch before NBCUniversal gained the North American rights. :(

Honestly, I'd say go for it with accessing it through... other means. Eurovision is always a good laugh of an evening, wouldn't want you to miss out! Especially if NBCUniversal aren't going to do it themselves?

Yes, if you are aware of these other means, please send me a DM. :)

Even better, Sweden's broadcaster, SVT, lets you watch live online from the SVT Play app for Android and iOS. :)

Sweden was pretty amazing. So far the only one I've not enjoyed is Germany's entry. They just didn't sound very good.

Oooh, and Cyprus giving us a little strip tease! LOL

So, I'm stuck in a Hotel room tonight, so watching Eurovision properly for the first time, having picked it up at the Russian entry.

I have to first say "Na na na", and I also agree with Leftie on the Norwegian Baldy! That fella was great!

Iceland was amazing too. I love it. It's also a genuinely good song.

Yeah, I found the Icelandic act rather amusing with the whole hatred aspect to it!

I did also prewarn Pilot they'd either love it or hate it, as it turns, i was right!
Genuinely loved that song and performance, and Iceland will get one of my 3 votes I make every Eurovision. Not decided who the other 2 countries are yet though.

So, the Swiss entry is my favourite so far, bear in mind that I'm coming into this blind unlike the majority of people watching this seem to be.

Certainly not a fan of this Australian entry though!

Switzerland was really good, too. The crowd was into it. I think I actually like France the best so far.

Australia - a visually stunning performance but a very MEH song.

Got to agree here, the song wasn't my cup of tea, but the staging was truly amazing.

Really not sure about my top 10 picks from earlier anymore!

That Spanish entry to end was quite a catchy song IMO, certainly not one I'd vote for, but certainly entertaining.
