How far would you drive or ride or sail or fly to your next lover?

The furthest I have gone is from my home at the time (Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK) to where my partner lived (Chessington, Greater London, UK), which is about 180 miles, in a straight line. Probably nearer to 200 on roads and rails.

I can't really afford to do any more than that, that cost me about £80 per trip 10 years ago. According to National Rail Enquiries, nearer to £110 now. I'm single currently, so I spend nothing on dates. Amazing how much more ££££ i have spare :p

Probably not further then 200km as for anything more I would be outside my own country :P. And the most I travelled for a date was 130km.

When I was stationed at Fort Knox Kentucky, a buddy set me up with his sister in Puerto Rico, and I flew there to spend a week with her. Round trip 6,300 km including a stop in Miami. Naturally there was more in it for me than just female companionship, but still...

Are we taking first date or a subsequent date.

First date is a lot shorter than someone I'm already involved with

Previously in the past, my furthest was about 2000 miles.
Taking long distance to the next level ;)

Of course, that was long ago. Now it's only 1800...

The furthest I've done is Manchester to Sheffield which is roughly 37 miles.

Furthest I would go? Well, that'd depend on my financial situation at the time - no point saying I'd go thousands of miles if I couldn't afford it now, is there?
