Was he the one to bomb Syria? Hmm. I must've missed that one.Train<In>Vain wrote:Wile E Putin's got us just where he wants us. Genius.
Russia carries out lots of air strikes in Syria.. with more than 5000 civilian casualtiesChrill wrote:Was he the one to bomb Syria? Hmm. I must've missed that one.Train<In>Vain wrote:Wile E Putin's got us just where he wants us. Genius.
Not the suspected chemical attack. But Russia does heavily back the Syrian government, including military assistance. So they may have (emphasis on may) helped to carry out the attack, although almost certainly indirectly by giving Syria the means to do so, without intending it to be used like this.Chrill wrote:Was he the one to bomb Syria? In certain extent and aspect, I don't mind the world burns if it's necessary.lobster wrote:Some people just want to watch the world burn.Auga159 wrote:Sgt. Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band isn't a good album
The world is burning. We have around 25-30 forest fires in Sweden at the moment due an extreme draught. This time of year we usually get rain, but honestly it hasn't really rained since April. It's literally illegal to use a grill, and they are considering a water usage limit which I don't think I've ever had to experience before.siu238X wrote:In certain extent and aspect, I don't mind the world burns if it's necessary.lobster wrote:Some people just want to watch the world burn.Auga159 wrote:Sgt. It's really cold over here in Sweden and it's always raining in summer, so why do you complain when you have rather good weather ?Chrill wrote:The world is burning. Heat is one thing, we've had 33 degrees C (91F) before, but right now it's that hot and has been for weeks. What do you mean climate change?
Because there's forest fires everywhere (one so close that I can see the smoke from it as of typing this), a ban on using grills, running low on water and therefore advised not to shower for more than 10 minutes per day despite the heat, and farm animals are being slaughtered just because the farmers cannot feed them due to all the crops dying. Take a guess why I'm complaining.acs121 wrote:It's really cold over here in Sweden and it's always raining in summer, so why do you complain when you have rather good weather ?
How do you explain in France here it's 33° Celsius too and there's no forest fires ?Chrill wrote:Because there's forest fires everywhere (one so close that I can see the smoke from it as of typing this), a ban on using grills, running low on water and therefore advised not to shower for more than 10 minutes per day despite the heat, and farm animals are being slaughtered just because the farmers cannot feed them due to all the crops dying. EDIT: I said 25-30 forest fires earlier today, current count is 82 active fires. 4 of which they say cannot be put out, merely limited.

Lol, where are you now mate ?acs121 wrote:How do you explain in France here it's 33° Celsius too and there's no forest fires ?
You also know in Scandinavia the water level is lowering globally ?
Hey, i live in France, and right now i'm in Stockholm. I know about the forest fires, but i'm enjoying the high temperatures and even bathing in the water in Solna. There's even other people like me bathing at the same place.YNM wrote:acs121 wrote:It's really cold over here in Sweden and it's always raining in summer, so why do you complain when you have rather good weather ?Lol, where are you now mate ?acs121 wrote:How do you explain in France here it's 33° Celsius too and there's no forest fires ?

But yeah, it's hot and it's burning. We have forest fires in the marsh/peat forests.
