TT Meet 2017: Birmingham 10th Anniversary Meet - VOTE FOR DATES

I, the founder of said meets, am unable to attend on 29 July as I have family commitments.

Why would anyone have other family outside of the forums?

Ah, that is a shame indeed. Birmingham, London and York were of course the first three meets, and three of the best!

Generally we meet up in a pub and chat. Often there is a transport-related activity or two too. A few years ago we had a special guest join us and give us a preview of the TT mobile app, which was quite fun.You are of course welcome to organise a meet in Australia, or anywhere else. There was an unofficial Sydney meet in 2011 when I was visiting - we went to a transport museum, several pubs, and went bowling in the evening - much beer was consumed, and I think we all had a great day!

I can't emphasise enough how good London 2008 was. There were nearly 50 people there, including Josef Drexler and some rather big forum celebs.

Happy days eh? We're all getting old now.
