Getting Spam From My Own E-Mail Provider!

I generally get spam everyday , ranging from 2 messages to 20. problem is , it is coming from my own E-mail provider.

Spam filter, better junk mail settings, or a new email.

Spam emails is just something that happens these days.
Delete, block, and report without opening the email is what I usually do when they crop up out of the junk folder.

It's unfortunately comparatively easy to fake the sender of email addresses, at least as far as I know. So basically getting spam from your own provider (or even your own email address...) doesn't have to mean much (if anything).

It is. It's generally quite easy, google 'fake mailer' and they'res lots of sites where you can do one yourself.

At a risk of derailing the thread (didn't have much of a direction anyway), I'm not too fond of places with a like button, but no dislike button.

My ideal place would only have a dislike button, no like button. Not sure why nobody thought of that yet.

If you can get the header of the message, then you can find the domain it is coming from and try to block it

Well, create another mail account, mangle you e-mail when posting it somewhere (like p e a s a n t (arroba) t e r r a (dot) c o m (dot) b r), so it will be a bit harder for spam bots to get it. And, mainly, create YET ANOTHER account like "comercialpeasant@mail.ru" and use it for like... EVERY site you create an account just to get the content of that damn spoiler only to never come back later. I'm doing it and... Hell... I'm still receiving some spam. But it's a lot less than I usually did.
