So I and a Serbian dude who I like to call Googer entered X-Jam 2016, which is basically just about making a videogame on a certain theme in 2 weeks.
This year's theme was floating islands and my best idea was "Transport Tycoon... in the sky?" while Googer lamented over there never being a normal theme for these things and me barely helping the matters with my retarded ideas. Fortunately, between us two he was democratically outvoted in that true Brexit fashion and so, I present to you Grand Stratospheric:

A game where trains disappear when they derail and building around the edges of the map isn't recommended.

If you mean whether the map has edges, then yes. It's 512x512 tiles large.PropH wrote:Sky has ends, doesn't it?
Re: A bad tycoon wannabe game I made
I don't understand what I'm doing. I managed to lay down some tracks and even get a train running! What does it do? Or rather, what should I do with it?
My Scenarios:
Archipiélago Hermoso (Latest Release: Version 3.2)
Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)
Re: A bad tycoon wannabe game I made
Ores go in the factory/refinery looking things
Re: A bad tycoon wannabe game I made
Where do I find ores?! I found two different looking structures and sent a train between them but all it did was regain some fuel every now and then

Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)

All the mines look the same, they just have different ores piled up in their sprites. For the record, coal is black, iron is brown, gold is yellow.
The goal of the game is to get 1000 gold.
