Very rare you get C London pubs scoring over 4 because people bleat about overcrowding and cost. I've organised a couple of events at the Bear and never had any bother!

No, it opens at 12, hence why the meet starts at 12 ;)

At StP, anyone else?

Dave tries to hotwire a bus, helped by two devious accomplices.

I got back to the hotel about an hour ago. Some of you may still be out in the London nightlife. Thank you for a lovely day, I'm pleasantly surprised. An extra round of applause to Dave who arranged the whole thing. Also a shoutout to Andel who won the "Top TT Forums Gear London race transport railway museum rush commute" challenge!

An excellent day. Cheers to everyone! Really enjoyed myself! Was planning on staying longer and overnight, but things came up so only could manage saturday, glad I did though!

Hopefully I shall see you all again in a years time, if not before!

Gents, unfortunately I won't be able to arrange anything for today, but please feel free if you want to yourselves - my apologies.

Thanks for coming yesterday - I had an excellent time. Many thanks to 61653 for the hastily thought up "Southwark to Covent Garden Top Gear challenge" which Andel won through a combination of fast driving and luck finding a parking space. The other three teams arrived at very similar times! A video will surely follow...

Let's do it all again soon.

All who attended yesterday, thanks for a wonderful day, really enjoyed myself. And I'm not sure if I should congratulate Angel on winning or not, he probably cheated somehow

Anyway, roll on next time!

This was the best meet yet. I'm just between Retford and Doncaster on a mk4 that's bouncing like a pacer with lo-rider suspension, will have 90 mins or so before my connection then about 6 minutes to get over the bridge at Westgate and down to the bus stop on Westgate (the road) for the 212 to Batley. Don't really want an hour's wait in Wakefield after such a long wait at Donny. A train every two hours just isn't good enough!

Thanks to Dave for organising the whole shebang, and everyone else for making it such an event!

Could be worse, I could walk up there and say hi :p

I also concur with 61653, although i've only been to 3 (the one at NRM in York, then Crewe, then here at London) this was the one i enjoyed the most. Massive thanks to everyone, i'm always a bit skeptical of things like this, but really worth it all!

Also, if Acocks Green, maybe go to see a urologist...?

Typical that when I have a long wait at Doncaster it's a Sunday so there's unlikely to be much to see. I did pass 66779 "Evening Star" at Peterborough earlier though. Looked impressive in British Railways Green even if it is just a shed.
