Speaking of Sunday, there is a Euro 2016 finale being played at 8pm. I could watch that with somebody.

Since I can't be there, I've sent Dave some pennies to buy everyone a drink on behalf of Zernebok Hosting.

When you're enjoying your beverages, don't forget that quality hosting services can be found at http://www.zernebok.co.uk/, and for customers outside the UK it's now even better value due to the value of the pound! ;)

Have fun everyone, do report back. Indeed, feel free to knock up some videos of all the hilarious japes you'll be getting up to. :)

So where in STP is the meetup point for those using it? I'm not familiar with STP at all, so hopefully its somewhere clear as day.

Near the ticket barriers for the Thameslink Platforms maybe? :)
That's pretty easy to find at least.

As long as the Thameslink barriers are well sign posted, all should be good. Not sure where the EMT trains from Leeds pull in at STP.

On my way... currently at Mirfield, just let the direct Grand Central service go because I'd have needed a Monkhill to Doncaster single at £9- rather than £2.90 from South Elmsall. Will have a longer wait at Westgate and/or Fitzwilliam but will end up on the service my reservation is on.

EDIT: Sat on a 142 that's been stood just outside Wakefield Kirkgate for about 15 mins. Guard announced we're waiting for a platform. Just moving now, after a 158 overtook us on the low level line... I'm now glad of the long connection at Westgate!

LATER EDIT (1639): Doncaster stopper running 14 late due to needing a fitter's attention at Leeds. Also issues with OHLE at Doncaster apparently...

Last train journey I could be bothered to look up the headcode for: 04/02/2016, Mirfield to Batley, 2J34 1459 Huddersfield to Leeds, Northern Rail 144015

Turns out the train with my reservation has been cancelled due to the wire problems. Might be on Hull Trains instead.

EDIT: Just cancelled from North of Doncaster. On now in P8. No reservations though.

Sounds like an awful journey! Hope you're getting close by now!

Also, Chrill, hope you had a good journey over :)

See you all tomorrow! Meanwhile, I'm sat outside the Hydrant, near the Monument, enjoying a nice refreshing pint of Czech Beer

Just checked into my hostel, it's not a patch on The Generator :(

The journey was fine once I got to Doncaster, in fact because my train started there instead of Leeds I had an entire mk4 to myself from Retford south! Arrived into the Cross only 2 late. Anyone who's already here fancy grabbing a pint or 3...?

That's one of the reasons I came down today - I'm proper rubbish in mornings!

My saving on travel has covered my hostel bill- nothing to do with the day I travel though, I guess.

I'm just in TGI Fridays in Leicester Square grabbing some food, but if you're still up for it, I'm up for a few drinks afterwards
