Singer David Bowie has sadly died after losing a battle to cancer. He was 69 years old.

He may be dead, but he'll never be gone. He influenced the music industry so heavily. You hear it in pop and rock and all other genres. Lady Gaga has named him an influence, I read Kanye West mentioning Bowie today as a "Great inspiration". Try listing all rock musicians who would name Bowie as in influence, it'd go on for a long while.

He released an album three days ago. THREE DAYS. That was his farewell.
