I made a mistake. I took the opportunity, during a Steam Sale, to go bonkers with Europa Universalis IV and buy all the expansions I've been missing. That's 6-7 of them. Now I don't understand the game!

It really is time they start cleanly with EU5, but I guess it's not happening any time too soon ... ^^

My experience (with most expansions bought, and no desire for any more) is that the mechanics themselves are mostly not that complex, and not even as connected as they could be, not to mention sometimes conceptually redundant. Just an endless feature pileup, with some pretty obvious DLC filler - not really good game design, but apparently good for the Paradox balance sheet. Though the game's still fun enough, and I got plenty of play time out of it.

I've aced my Stardew Valley run on my Switch. Since I've bought Dark Souls to replay on that system I've decided to first finish Zelda BotW. On the last 10 shrines now.

What a coincidence, I play Poseidon. I used to play Caesar and Pharaoh as a kid, and I wanted to see if these Impressions games are any good without nostalgia goggles so I tried Zeus which I hadn't played, and it hooked me so hard I beat it and started on Poseidon. Didn't expect these to be so good and so long.

Zeus and Poseidon. That brings back some good memories.

In the last few days, I've revived Shattered Union. I sucked at it then and I suck at it now, but how I love those hexagonal map games. Next up is to virtualize the TalonSoft Battleground Series. I absolutely loved Napoleon in Russia - that was a masterpiece in the TalonSoft catalog.

After finally getting a capable computer, I have recently been playing a bit of Cities: Skylines, Train Simulator 2019, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and OMSI 2. Shame it only has 256GB of space.

Yes, a lot of underestimated game, in some countries almost unknown, because at the same time Starcraft came out and everyone started to play Starcraft ... and the game Outpost 2 was forgotten.

Just started this weekend with Transport Fever that I bought weeks ago on Steam, during a sale.

First I played long time only to go bankrupt in the year 1930. I started 1850. It was a slow death...

The game fulfulls my need for a modern transportation game. I like it.
But Transort Tycoon Deluxe is a game I'll never forget, it is love!

Still ETS 2 most of the time, but since this game can be quite consuming I play "Picross Fairytale - nonogram: Red Riding Hood secret" if I have little spare time.

I also play Railway Empire a bit. It can easily pass as RRT5 (Sid Meier's Railroads is RRT4) IMHO.
