Why? Paint Shop Pro isn't enough?

i really love the retro pixel graphics. shush you for always needing everything to be anti-aliased, Sapphire.

Pixels are good when applied in a correct fashion, and this is one of them. Boo for vector graphics.

Nice to see someone getting into Graphics
If you really want a challenge, I suggest giving Macromedia Fireworks a try.
It's good for simple and amateur stuff. Fairly simple by comparison to others and quite fun

Here's something I made once before:

Nice supernova, Geo!

Lookup the fractal topic I once made. Nice pieces of render art in there aswell... No pixel art tough.

I use fireworks - it's mainly a vector program but it's really easy to use, without the learning curve that Photoshop requires.

PS: I prefer the pixally one before athanasos wrecked it. It just looks blurry rather than crisp.

I'm getting in the mood to do something like this now too, but I'm already rending a 3D movie
