I've been browsing these Doctor Who forums over the internet in a vain attempt to discover what the "who boffs" are saying about other alive Time Lords. The reoccuring theory seems to be that The Master is still alive.
Although if it turns out there are other Time Lords still about - and they then become reoccuring, they run the risk of either a) getting a spin-off of their own or b) when the Doctor runs out of regenerations they carry the series of with whatever Time Lords are still hanging about.

I think Captain Jack might be a Time Lord too. I hope so, because it means we'll get to see more of The Barrowman on our screens.

Wasnt the Master sucked into the heart of the tardis ?
Maybe he managed to escape. Like when Rose looked into the heart of the Tardis

I had a think and a little chat and see hings this way:

Not alone could either mean another Timelord... or he isn't physically alone (someone else needs to be with him).

Me and someone here came up with a theory that because Rose absorbed the energy from the Tardis at some point, perhaps she has become part-time lord.
But since she is unlikely to return to Dr Who, that option isn't likely.

One thing i am glad of though...
It's not been based in modern London or Cardif for almost 3 episodes now! :D
I prefer the ones on other planets. Bit more like the classic Dr Who's..

*below is about the teaser at the end. do NOT read any further if you did not see the teaser at the end of the episode*

Well, they are back again.. but does anyone think they are brining the Daleks back in too soon to the series?
I would have prefered them to be on a different planet to be honest. They are always on earth and it's starting to get a bit... "all the same" :(

It's getting a bit tiresome that the Daleks keep re-appearing. Every series The Doc supposedly kills the last of them then they re-appear in the next series. The plotlines are getting a bit gash concerning how they re-appear too - Steve finds one in his shed and offers it a brew, inadvertently energising it to the level where it can wipe out mankind.

Yesterday's episode was the best yet. I think the whole plot and the settings were brilliant.

From what we have to go on, I fancy it's gonna be Captain Jack that Boe speaks of.

Unless the writers chuck in a couple of twists.

Turns out "Mr Saxon" is the "keyword" for this series, by the way.

I hope not.
I went off Jack after Torchwood.
I'm not homophobic, they just took it too far i think.
Wasn't really what i expect to see on TV.

Well... 21st century.

About time it was treated openly, I think.

If this country's so equal in terms of sexuality, then it should be on telly as much as straight/heterosexual stuff.

Here comes my cynical mode...
There is no such thing as "Equal" in anything, apart from numbers :P

If anyone asks why, because nothing can be equal exactly.
People will for ever argue and change things around to suit them, the human race all over. We've all done it (no comment  )

Hope they have the next episode in 2 parts. I don't want it to be a short episode.
It makes me wonder though... since you can't kill off the Daleks for ever, how they are going to bring them back again, and again.

Surely by now, the only way they could do it is by having the Daleks just be there always. Like colanising somewhere, and they pop up every so often... bit like human planets.

3 seasons though, if they keep going they will just make the Daleks boring like stories on Earth :(

Whats wrong with some of you ?
Daleks and Dr Who are synonymous with each other.
In years to come IQ tests will say

Chalk is to Cheese as....

A: Blue is to Cold
B: Daleks are to The Doctor
C: Wood is To Trees

They might be synonymous with each other, we can all appreciate that but when they come back again and again and again when all the other Time Lords are dead and they dont come back again and again it tends to get boring.

Doctor: Oh look Daleks....again
Dalek: EXTERMINATE
Doctor: Yeah..not heard that before.
Dalek: Extermin..
Doctor: Shut up
Dalek: What?
Doctor: Well come on, its kinda the same thing again and again.
Dalek: True, but exterminating is my thing, you know?
Doctor: Perhaps, just leave me alone for once, annoy someone else
*Doctor does something cool with his sonic screwdriver
Martha: Wow, you killed them all...coooooool
Doctor: They'll be back.....
*sneaky Dalek hiding in the shadows*
Dalek *to himself* EMERGENCY TEMPORAL SHIFT
Doctor: ...they always come back

You see?...all the same.

Arguably though, let's say, I don't know, 1 in 5 people in bi/homosexual. (I plucked that figure out of my head.) Surely, for it to be representative, it should apply to 1 in 5 people on TV, not half the people (ie, "equally")? ;)

And Torchwood represents 1 in 5 people on the telly?

Well, I was just pointing out that, yes, it's all very well talking about "equality", but it's also worth thinking that some things (not just sexuality) are maybe more in the minority... not that they shouldn't be equal, more that it should be remembered that things are proportional. Something like that, I think. It made more sense in my head. :P

Yet another emergency temporal shift? Just string out the Daleks for another episode.

Absolutely fantastic 2-part episode. I thought the Doctor may have created a lot of timelords, you are not alone and all that.
