I've split discussion about the 2021 protests and riots in Washington DC from this to a separate topic.

England, its a bit cold at the moment with snow throughout the North.
a rather hair raising moment for a bus driver caught on camera, over in Halifax not too far from me; https://imgur.com/gallery/ii5VXQ7
Driver may have needed a clean pair of pants after that. Bus appears to have 0 on its rear display, which tends to mean a not in service bus, so no passengers to worry about at least

I so hope this rumour is true!
Apparently Rockstar may be working on remasters of Grand Theft Autos Vice City, GTA III & San Andreas. Would absolutely love that, would be amazing!

Re: The Thread Of Randomness
In Sweden, we have a TV commercial that has run uninterrupted since 2001, with a new "episode" every one or two weeks.
The commercial is for a Swedish grocery store chain called ICA. It's about the daily life in a regular ICA store in an unspecified city in Sweden. The manager, ICA-Stig, has been played by 3 actors including the newest one who joined just a week ago. In that sense, it's our own Doctor Who.
One of the actors, his name is Paul Tilly, has played the same character in these ads since the very beginning. That's dedication!

“Some say that he appears on high value stamps in Sweden, and that he can catch fish with his tongue. All we know is he’s called the Stig.”
Re: The Thread Of Randomness
He should be on a stamp! I'll notify the postal company immediately.
My Scenarios:
Archipiélago Hermoso (Latest Release: Version 3.2)
Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)

It's great that you post here, DrWho42, but even in the Thread of Randomness we do appreciate a tiny bit of context. When you just post a photo with no caption or explanation, it is difficult for others to engage. It would be great if you could include a short explanation, or a question, or similar to your photos.

Re: The Thread Of Randomness
So its snowed a bit in the UK, especially in parts of Scotland.
Apparently snow brings out the idiots of the country, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland- ... l-55950942
Who on earth thinks this is a safe way to drive a car?!

Re: The Thread Of Randomness
We've had a fair bit of snow in Stockholm, more than most winters, and I have never been happier that my car is parked in a garage. The temperature is also above 0 in the garage, so any snow I may pick up whilst outside will have melted away by the time I drive out again. It's the best type of posh!

Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)

Yes, yes it has. There’s a road here somewhere, and a garden here somewhere too...Redirect Left wrote: ↑12 Feb 2021 00:35 So its snowed a bit in the UK, especially in parts of Scotland.
It was also -23 degrees C down the road in Braemar the other night, the coldest in over 10 years and the coldest night in February since the 1980s. Here it was a slightly milder -13!

Re: The Thread Of Randomness
Enjoy real snowy and frosty winter. This is very rare these days. I am personally delighted every time it is freezing and snowing outside. Without this, winter seems fake.orudge wrote: ↑13 Feb 2021 18:33Yes, yes it has. Re: The Thread Of Randomness
The creator of Thomas the Tank Engine had a son called Christopher. So did the creator of Winnie the Pooh. Watched both programs as a child but only found this out the other day. A weird coincidence.
