Haha, my Desire HD is on Jelly Bean, hardly notice that it is two years out of date :D . I've no idea what s*** HTC is pushing on it now, but I think that I read somewhere that they didn't even upgrade it to ICS  !

Hmm, I'd think about upgrading my two year old Desire to standard Android, but I should be getting a Nexus 4 in a month (or two, I'm not optimistic about their delivery estimates) so I won't bother.

Ha, my friend heard that they were going on sale on the Google store at 5pm on some day the other week, and he sat there pressing F5 until it became available - I think his arrived just before Christmas!

I must've bought it a short while after that, it said 6-7 weeks and that was 2 weeks ago. Contract on this one doesn't finish until the end of January anyway so I'm happy to wait. Couldn't really resist it considering the price and the specs

Yay fractals! Of course, all the widgets make it very difficult to actually see... :P

Home is a total mess. Computer filing is neat and organised.

Woman chose the picture. I always knew she was a lesbian. Can't say I object, mind.

I recently found my oldest surviving desktop screenshot from 2005, and compared it size-wise to my current desktop layout (one 1080p 27" monitor and one portraid 1024x1280 19" monitor). I don't know how I ever coped with that little space, much less filled it up with silly widgets!

Nice!

I recognize the A4 on the left, what's the coach on the right?

That's it? Hmmm... looks like a standard compartment coach from this angle... Nice!

Were you there recently? I was at the NRM last Monday for the Mallard celebration.

Was Sir Nigel Gresley there when you went? It was the only A4 missing when I was there.

Indeed it is, I missed that, didn't notice the number behind the desktop icons.

Ah, they finished repairing/overhauling it then? Last (and only time) saw Sir Nigel was in pieces in the NYM Railway service yard last summer. :)
