I´m just wondering if I´m the only person with Windows XP. It´s quite expensive but I downloaded it
Thanks,

XP Pro for me. I bought it though. The legal way!
Why did you put Pro 64? Do you have any idea how much it would cost to make a 64bit system!!!

Err... on my workstation, I have Win XP Pro. But I have a Debian/GNU linux server, a win98se machine, and a MS-Dos 6.2 for dos-apps.
And at work, I´m running win2k prof on both my desktop machine and my laptop.

Since last week (excluding the my 3-weeks holiday) I used 98SE, I can´t install Windows eXtended Problems because my computer is too old (the P3 500 is ok, i think, but only 128 MB RAM...).

My grampy has a P3 500 with 256 RAM and Windows XP works sweet on it.
Thanks,

If you get more RAM Marco XP will work fine of that system. Depends on the games you play but I would get Windows 2000. Its much better. And to be honest it plays all the games I play just as well as XP does.

128 MB of RAM should be fine. On my old system I had XP with 96 MB and a 300 MHz CPU and it worked fine, just a little shoody on the Windows Media Player 8 music visuals.
Thanks,
Adam Reece.

I had 128 meg on my winxp system, and it wasn´t enough. The harddrive never rested. I have 640Mb now, and it´s enough.
