Indeed, didn't see that coming. Brazil turned ugly sadly, their red card was a proof of it.

And wtf did Dirk Kuyt think in the 92nd minute... could have been 3-1 :P.

EDIT: the country is exploding, looks like we already won the cup!

Who's that, Spain?

Let's see who we fight first: Uruguay or Ghana. Then Spain has to beat Germany or Argentine.

Would be cool if it ended up as an NL-Germany final...just like 1974.

Ghana should have won. The ball was unstoppably going into the goal when the cheaty Uruguayan player put his hands to it. I cannot believe that there is no rule saying that in situations like that a goal should be awarded rather than a penalty.

Well, Spain and Paraguay walking to the pitch right now. Almost everybody predicts Spain the winner, but we saw some surprises yesterday. And I'm glad Brazil is out, what a bunch of arrogant bad losers (and of course my country won). I've heard complains of the Netherlands being provocative, but I have seen at least five tackles on Robben's legs, with 0,0% intent of playing the ball. Hopefully Spain will play the samba, and they do it in a fair way, like Germany have earlier.
Congratulations to Germany, from the Netherlands. You deserve the final with your nice 'Dutch-like' playing style!

Great play by Germans! And when I think that we won against them, stays bitter taste in mouth...

Spain somehow won against Paraguay, but they should score earlier. I really don't know why referee repeated penalty... same situation was when Paraguay had penalty. :?

Netherlands should win, but Uruguay is the biggest surprise. And Spain-Germany should be great match! We have two days to sort impressions.

Germany should get rid of Spain easily, if present form is anything to go by. Spain played quite poorly against Paraguay and got a lucky rebound goal in the end. That said, Paraguay are a 'hang on for penalties' side, so better to get shot of them.
