Wow. Well, I didn't quite expect that. I do hope the Netherlands manages to win the final now!

Hmmm... Germany out of the match. A bit unexepected. The finals against Spain will be fireworks.

Hmmm, so I was supporting England (for obvious reasons), then Brazil (because I thought they might win), then Ghana until the Uruguayan cheats stopped that, then Germany, because I speak German. I think I should support Spain in the final because I want the Netherlands to win!

Well, the Spanish team showed what they are able to play. Such a great football, very sad mood here in Germany! But I for my part believe Spain is going to win the Cup, because they are just such an incredible strong team.

Well from what I've seen is that Germany didn't really play all that good. I've seen them playing much better matches. Spain was getting opportunity after opportunity and finally scored just 1 out of 11 shots on goal in the second half. If Spain plays like this, my bets are on Oranje.

Next to that, the game itself was fair and friendly. That is commendable for both teams.

Well, things are going to final. Netherlands haven't lose match, and Spain is Spain. There are really two best teams.

Spain played wonderful last night.

I'm so hoping for the Dutch to win it. It would be brilliant. Also, hi again. I've been in Greece! I also lost my bank card to an evil ATM (without entering the wrong PIN code) and my keys at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport

If Spain wins, there is only one team that didn't lose any game in the world cup. It would be New Zealand! Wohow!

Not so exciting first half with silly fouls committed on both sides. Looks as if both teams are under severe anxiety to perform.

Some say silly fouls, others say karate kick from De Jong.

Should have been a red card. Spain is better now, way better, and way fairer. COME ON SPAIN!

Dang, Spain score, I was holding out for penalties and the chance of the Netherlands winning. Still, a few minutes to go I guess...

Great game despite the fouls and the many extremely unnecessary yellow cards. 13 or 14 in total. The previous "record" of cards in a world cup final was 6

It seems so. Too many card collectors on the Dutch side, a red card was simply bound to happen. Still I wonder, is giving 13 yellow cards in a match really necessary?

Congratulations to Spain, revenge is in 4 years ;).

Hyro: Some of them were perhaps not necessary, one was fully incorrect. However, the way both teams played, a high amount of cards were justified

Yes, in the game for 3rd place :D;)

Most of the yellow cards were actually quite necessary. And Nigel de Jong should have gotten a red card for that Kung Fu attack.
