Re: The Formula One Topic
Indeed, after the double triple headers this season, I was kind of happy not having a race weekend. Problem is also that while the midfield is exciting, the front is almost lacking any excitement, it only becomes interesting if Hamilton screws up and gets a penalty to take him out of contention.

If you consider P4 first place, F1 is healthier than ever.

That was one hot race the day , Well done to the Marshalls and Dr Ian Roberts and all that have helped make F1 safer . https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/15384 ... n--roberts .So nice to see Grosjean on the road to recovery at the end of Broadcast .

Absolutely horrid accident. I've never seen a car do that. It just... erupted. Exploded. Seeing him struggle to get out of his car, and them climb through the flames... Iconic, but awful, images all at the same time. He shouldn't have lived, yet he did. The halo both cleared the armco barrier from his head, and built a gap big enough for him to escape through. Crashing at 51g, and having the presence of mind to even undo your seatbelt is beyond me. Let alone climb out of the burning wreck and escape like he did. The medical car, with Dr. Roberts and van der Merwe, were instrumental in helping him get out so fast. Brilliant work in what must have been an absolute shock to arrive to.
I screamed at the TV and my wife got upset with me for shouting. When she saw the replays later, she rather felt like I did not scream enough.

This, from 77 seconds, shows Grosjean trying to climb out and finally succeeding. He was engulfed in flames for about 28 or so seconds.

The grid is pretty much complete for 2021. Perez was just confirmed for Red Bull!
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting that. I like it, though. After how Racing Point treated Perez, I'm happy to see him move up the grid instead!
