After having played the game for a few days, here's my analysis:

Apparently the Russian planes like Catalina are made out of Stalinium and can't be destroyed by conventional means. Ramming them is the only way to be sure... aaaand actually, it's not. Sometimes they survive even that, so it's a good idea to carpet bomb them beforehand.

Unfortunately, crude Stalinium wing structure is no match for ancient Japanese plane wings, traditionally slow-forged out of finest tamahagane steel for centuries, as per the prophecy of the great war in which brave warriors would lead their metal birds to the battle, kept in utmost secrecy until the right time.

Basically what we see here is the clash of the titans, the materialized willpower of Joseph Stalin against absolutely perfect combination of iron, carbon and oxygen on atomic level interwoven with the spirits of the greatest Japanese swordsmiths of 2nd millennium.



Someone should really tell Gaijin that Japanese aircraft are actually made out of paper and that Russian wood is just as flamable and fragile as any other.

Apart from the fact that's an American Consolidated PBY Catalina. The Soviet Union did use them however, so you're correct in the regard. But, they also used Hurricanes, Spitfires, P-40s etc. Wouldn't describe them as Russian either

Whoops, yep, it is originally a US plane, I had no idea, I only play as Russia and they have it as low rank bomber.

P-40 is also available for USSR, Hurricane and Spitfire only Brittish.

I have never seen so many non sensical things in a single gif before, everything about that is wrong and implausible

Oh, it actually makes more sense than it should.

I bet you couldn't notice the bullet holes appearing on both wings for no reason when they collided. Also, the wing broke exactly at the point of impact by chance - it would break at that point no matter where it would get hit, and how.

Long time no doublepost. About time I got my fix, it's been getting on my nerves.

Some Space Terraria Starbound screencaps, mostly what my character has to say about stuff around her (Glitch village, medieval robots). Grammar isn't perfect, I suspect it's because there are a LOT of lines to write down for mere human beings. Each race has different lines for each of thousands of objects in the universe, many are still placeholders (like descriptions of different flora and fauna on planets). Specifically the description of each race' technology is well-covered.

The first expansion for Europa Universalis IV has been released. It's called "Conquest of Paradise" and focuses on the new world. They have included an option for a randomly generated new world and I decided to go with that option.

This is America, as far as I've been able to discover. I've put up a colony in the South-Eastern parts of America. Once you have 5 (or more) developed colonial provinces near each other, they group together to form a semi-autonomous Colonial Government. That's why you can see two provinces owned by me (Ottomans) and then the colonial nation of Turkish Brazil. Once those two Ottoman provinces reach 1000 inhabitants, they will be incorporated into Turkish Brazil.

No, that's the default look of EU:IV. Maybe you've been playing Europa Universalis 3 mainly? This was released not too long ago, around September I believe. The expansion was released earlier this week.
