Should i get the patch?

1. DO NOT GET VISTA, yet. It's a load of balls.
2. On your current machine, you could run Windows 2000 very nicely. It's better tham ME, but without the fancy graphics of XP.
3. For the love of God do not buy something with Vista already on it.

Off Topic: Hey, Vista isn't that bad. Sure it's restrictive system within the Hard Drive is really annoying, and it has some compatibility issues, but it's quite nice to use and it does have some good features, such as the redesigned user accounts.

On Topic: I would say it's best to start with TTD for a while, to learn it's mysterious ways, then move onto the Patch or even better OpenTTD.

Vista is sensational but yes there is some compatibily issues. Thats why i run duel boot of WINXP SP2 and Vista.
