Maybe you can devellop that patch feature Andrex? I know you have program experience (TTDX Configurator).

OK, I keep working in my project and here is a new cellular phone telecommunications tower ready to download.
Keep and eye on the TTD Urban Renewal because I will add other day-light work in there as I do it.
... IMO it looks a bit odd

Odd?
It's just because you're not used to it.

I think it looks better than the normal one.

Ah, yes... it'll be on the new site, which I posted some screenshots of ages ago. When this will be up depends on when I have time to work on it. ;) I have exams at the moment, so am quite busy.

I can't do it (yet) since the only programming language I know is VisualBasic, which I learnt in my last year of high school (past year). Of my 7 years of high school that was the only useful thing I learnt. Oh, and something about networks two.

Since I don't have a digital camera I cannot post the photo of it, which is located a few bloks from my home and it looks exaclty like my design.
But I have found this other one in google, which is similar.

Since tall buildings and that are becoming very popular, NIGHTTD won't stay behind.
Despite I have to make more small additions, here is a preview of the new airport in NIGHTTD.

You have to see those flashing lights at the top of buildings in action. They are one of the main reasons why I'm making NIGHTTD, :P :P

So now, when I'm playing during the day, I can use the normal graphics, then save the game and quit when it gets dark, and start TTD with the night-time graphics! ;)

BTW, Andrex, do you want me to add those banners at the bottom of your page to the tt-forums.net banner zone? That'll make them appear at the bottom of all tt-forums.net pages (rotating with other banners).

I've been busy in the Toyland Replacement project and haven't noticed this thread until now.

HOLY MOSES!

Words fail me. The "night" thing is just cool.

I do have one small quibble. I like tall buildings too. But a tall airport terminal is totally out of place. Ever seen one in real life? No, airport buildings are rarely more than 4 stories tall. Control towers are, but not big buildings that planes could smash into if the wind catches them. Likewise for the very thick cell-tower at the airport.

I was about to ask you if you could do that. Proceed with the banners addition right away plz.

My airports have very heavy traffic, and it is phisically impossible to fit 2000 or 3000 passengers with their baggage in a 3 stories building.
And with the planecrashcontrol switch you can avoid the crashing of planes, in case you think they will crash with the tall communications tower.

Last but not least, NIGHTTD IS READY FOR DOWNLOAD.
You can get the NIGHTTD conversion for only 2402 KB, from the TTD Urban Renewal page. I have also added new graphics from other ppl.

I have just added a warning specially for ppl like you (no offense) in the NIGHTTD download page.

YOU MUST USE A DARK COLOR FOR YOUR COMPANY, BETTER USE DARK BLUE.

If you think I'd take the work to replace every assignable color from vehicles and buildings pixel by pixel, you are mistaken.

Well, that means if i want to use night TTD i must use Dark Blue colours... Is there a way to toggle it on and off, cause i don't really like using Dark Blue all the time...

Your TTDNight graphics are great! Did you figured out a kind of 'batch' file allowing to choose to start with normal TTD or TTDNight, by saving files to a TTDday folder, then copying files from the folder TTDnight into tycoon normal directory ? I'm using a (more simple) system like this to load at my convenience (and the convenience of my girlfriend) tycoon in french, in english, or in german (for a cool game i'm playing).

That would be great !
