Trams and trolleys can't use the same cabling, also using two cablings near eachother doesn't happen in reality and probably will not ever happen.

1. Trolleys use two cables, while trams use only one cable
2. The cables are on different heights
3. Intersections won't work
4. Different voltage is run on the tram/trolley cables

Intersections between trams and trolleybuses have existed so I wouldn't say they're impossible ;).

George, Rollo: Yes, it would.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

On the wiki and whenever steven_h is around on IRC. Articulated trams are possible and would also implement articulated road vehicles.

In Belgrade not. Even there is square in Belgrade where both trams and trolleybuses use same street (altough they don't use same cables).

The tram track graphic seems to do some silly graphic glitches to roads, especially roads under bridges and custom bridge heads. Also, I noticed road vehicles slowing down to cca 20 km/h on some locations (often standart narrow roads with no distinctive features) while the vehicle window still declares original speed. I am however not sure, if the later problem is connected with new roads, I have also updated few other things recently...

There is no tramset yet using all the features being worked on. Please remember that this feature is still in the Work in Progress stage. :)

I love this feature, i've just installed a lovely tram network on one of my save games :D My only request would be for the brown dirt between the light rail tracks to conform to the terrain colour, when running the light rail tracks along a stretch of countryside it tears it up A LOT more than i'd like. One suggestion i have to make is the oskar's one way roads code could be applied to the tram tracks too, and single side tram lines could be drawn, the only major difficulty i can forsee would be at intersection, but i'm sure with all the clever artists and coders we have someone could come up with a solution. My compliments to the team behind this!

hi,
I just made some tests with the tracks.

Is it possible to reduce the number of pylons? I have big problems with that:
Image

And can you seperate the pylons for street and non-street?
I want to make something like this: :)

Very nice work!!!!
