how to rename engines?

in my TTD, the rename option always is gray, i can't select it

in game , or at the game's title screen, i can't select "custom name"

why? is it that i havn't the file which store the custom names?

You should be able to rename games. You may have to build a depot before you can rename the vehicles though. Then, to be able to select custom names for a new game, you need to choose to save the vehicle names during a game in the Options dialog.

It'll be due to daylight savings time or something, I expect. You'll need to be registered, then go to the Profile page and add an hour to the timezone.
