It's not possible to play TTD via the Internet without setting up a virtual private network (VPN) with the person you're playing with. Even then, the game can be slow - a ping time of 20ms or less is recommended for playing TTD over Internet.

The highest income per year I've had is probably about £17m, although my latest game is using a higher interest rate, so in future years, it will be even more.
