You failed to include newlines in your count. This makes for two additional characters (four, if using Windows' silly CR LF line breaking).
Similarly to most things happening in the world, this reminds me of an xkcd strip

#ROFL

On a serious note: I have added a mobile style to my own forum and it is reported to be working fine: http://www.artodia.com/phpbb-styles/mobile/

I don't surf with my phone personally though #desktopdinosaur

I find maintaining a mobile skin and updating it with other changes to be a pain so I just installed Tapatalk. So much easier.

I find the trend of having a separate app for everything on mobile while more and more PC applications are subsequently superseded by webby/cloud ones hideous.

Amen to that.

I like to be able to work offline if needed, and with a real keyboard and a screen that can actually display stuff.

Don't worry, the normal TT-Forums theme is not going away! I will look into the potential for a mobile theme for the forums (in addition to Tapatalk) at some point, but I may wait until phpBB 3.1 (which I'm guessing/hoping will be out later this year sometime) before doing so.

phpBB already have Beta 2 out, so it shouldnt be long now. Definitely worth the wait to spare you double work!
