Announcing our new moderators
Hi all,
I'm pleased to announce that I have appointed a number of new moderators on the forums. To begin with, planetmaker has been promoted from an OpenTTD moderator to a global moderator, although mostly he will be concentrating on the OpenTTD forums, with his additional powers mostly being used to help tidy up spam that sneaks past our filters. His colour and rank reflect this fact.
Our global moderator team has been enhanced with the following new members: Chrill, Geo Ghost, jvassie and roboboy. I'm sure they'll be great in their new roles, helping to keep the forums spam free, and make sure everybody is on their best behaviour.
Finally, Dave has been promoted to a new role, General Forums Moderator. His role involves moderating the General forum category - i.e., Forum Suggestions, General Transport Discussion, Off-Topic and Forum Games.
Thank you to everybody who volunteered, and to those who didn't get picked on this occasion, I do still greatly appreciate you applying.
Good luck to all our new moderators! If anybody has any queries, please post them here or send me a private message.
Cheers,

Which silly person decided that it would be a good idea to make Dave a moderator?

Well, I'm sure Dave will do a good job. If he doesn't, he won't be a moderator much longer! The same, of course, goes for everybody. I wouldn't have picked them if I didn't think they'd be up to the job.XeryusTC wrote:Which silly person decided that it would be a good idea to make Dave a moderator?

That sounds like a rhetorical questionXeryusTC wrote:Which silly person decided that it would be a good idea to make Dave a moderator?

Good luck everyone!
Re: Announcing our new moderators
Now let's make sure we don't ruin this place. It's always a risk giving Dave colours.
My Scenarios:
Archipiélago Hermoso (Latest Release: Version 3.2)
Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)

Actually, now I wish I had a printer. If I ever get bored, I'd colour that train until it's.. coloured.

Re: Announcing our new moderators
I can print it off and take it to the meet for you. Maybe we could have a colouring contest.
Re: Announcing our new moderators
Well, I still rather look forward to actually having a TT-Forums quiz but I guess colouring is fun too!
