It's that time of year again

Post by orudge »

Christmas! If you're still seeing the standard TT theme, or a mish-mash of Christmas and standard themes, do a hard refresh in your browser. If anybody notices any problems that aren't related to them not having hard refreshed their browser, let me know!

Too soon.

But I guess that'll fix itself in a few days :>

Is it possible to disable it (for example "Tranport tycoon eternal summer" board style?). Foosilver board styles are even worse...

This is asked every year, and I'm afraid the answer is, as always, no.

Although potentially I could attempt to rig up something involving symlinks and other guff to make it easier to maintain, but at the moment I've not done so.

EDIT: OK, because I'm so nice, I've added a "Transport Tycoon (temperate)" option. If you never want to see the winter (or in theory the Toyland) theme ever again, choose that one.

That did remind me, however, to enable the Christmas smilies.

In theory, I could also use this method to introduce an OpenGFX theme, if people really wanted. In the case of OpenGFX, though, it'd be an image substitution only, the actual colour schemes would remain the same. I think somebody possibly already put together the images necessary for this a year or two ago, but if people would like a separate OpenGFX theme, and can provide me with images, I can look into it and potentially make it happen.

Its christmas!!!

On a bum note, sitting at Paddington for 2 1/2 hours amid A LOT of delayed trains doesn't do me well...

Anyways...

Arrgh, phone screen too bright! Switch it off Owen! Christmas is cancelled! [/humbugrantoff]

Now all we need is the train themed Christmas tree in the background.

You know it is Christmas time when the Christmas theme is rolled out. I reckon it'd be a good April Fools joke.
