Well, it's now 2008, as I'm sure you will all have noticed - a very happy new year to you all! It's been quite a significant year for the forums, mainly because it saw the launch of phpBB 3 at long last - as some of you may remember, I've said for the past few years (indeed, ever since the forums first launched way back in 2002) that "this year will be the year of phpBB 2.2", later phpBB 3 of course. Well, last year, my prediction was finally right. Did you know that the forums are twice as busy now as they were in December 2005, at least as far as bandwidth is concerned? In terms of projects, TTDPatch has seen various new development features added, and OpenTTD has made it up to the 0.6 development versions, featuring many exciting new developments, especially in the realm of graphics. No doubt 2008 will see much more of the same.

Well, attachment sizes did go up, but we still had 10.1 million hits last month, versus 7.7 million in December 2005.
