Nah, it'll continue to host OpenTTD stuff (the master server, etc), and will no doubt be used for other purposes too.

Also, as SpComb said, the server runs lighttpd (not Apache - lighttpd is much more lightweight and much faster) and MySQL. And I'm liking this new server... very very speedy, and it's hardly straining the server at all - load average: 0.15, 0.18, 0.12. :)

So my ridiculous posts will be stored in THAT? :P

Well, there's an easy solution to THAT problem. Stop making ridiculous posts. :p
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Hi Owen

Thank you for responding to my question. It was just an innocent question trying to ascertain the preferences of other more experienced operators than me.
You continue to do so much for TTD and the Forum and we here are blessed with a mighty fine SROTU. Keep up the great work! Bravo!

Right now, load is at around 10%. At peak times, load may make it to 40%. It can handle us for a little while yet. ;)

Well, we don't use anywhere near 100Mbps worth of bandwidth per month, nor do we spend that much per month on bandwidth, so we'll be alright for now, I'm sure. Thanks anyway. ;)
