Well, it's now 2006 here in Britain, and the servers run off GMT, so I'm posting this now: happy new year everyone! Enjoy yourselves - 2006 will be a good year for the forum, I'm sure. :)

Except that it wasn't, because I had written it nearly a day in advance and had just edited the timestamp so that it wouldn't appear until then.

Possibly orudge had a similar geeky solution, such as a script that posts it or perhaps phpBB also does not display anything from a timestamp that is in the future, I wouldn't know.

LAst year, he said he didn't, he just kliocked post 3 secounds or so before the year changeed, and hit. I bet he had a luckey shot this year too.
