Train depot Routing problem

Post by Locorobo »

Hi all,

I've got these 2 stations relatively close to each other, each one with their own depot. The problem is the trains are going to the wrong depots, how can I avoid such thing? I've added 2 pictures which hopefully clarifies what I mean.

How it should be.

How it's going.

Thanks in advance,

A little unclear in to what you want to achieve, if it helps, the reason for this is because the train will route to the nearest depot (in squares)... so if you wouldn't want it visiting the bottom depot, place it further away from the top depot, this way it will default to the nearest which will be the top one?

Use waypoints? This would make sure that you can send the trains to the depot of your wish. You could also add the depot in its route if you wish

Remove both depots, and place one before the lines split.

Or you could place the depot in the trains orders with a conditional order jump to miss the depot if the train is not due for servicing.
