Let's see how fat and bloated our TT folders have become in these enlightened times of huge capacity. Here's my most likely lightweight stats:

C:/MPS/ folder size - 395MB
C:/MPS/v1.0.0 (OpenTTD) - 230MB
C:/MPS/Twice Nightly Whitely (OpenTTD Nightlies) - 165MB

I seem to recall back in the day when TTO took a mere 4MB out of your life.

My original ancient TTD for DOS directory is 531MB in size, dating back to 1999 or so. An even older TTO directory is 24MB. I seem to have another old TTWin95 directory that's 250MB. And probably a few others here and there.

I have several gigabytes of OpenTTD directories, split over many disks, so I can't be bothered to find them all. If we're looking at just saved games I've made over the past 12 years, if I add them all up, they're probably a couple of gigabytes in all.

Well let me blow Things up:

7,3MB old OpenTTD PBS system saves
180MB TTDPatch with saves

Huge ones:
291 MB Old OpenTTD Versions (no saves)
1200 MB is the version i play (incl. saves)
--> 77MB game
--> 1123 MB save games
-----> 30 MB trash save games
-----> 1093 MB save games of a single game

this 1 GB of save games consist of:
327 save games of a 2048x2048 map dating from
1983: started playing mid 2007
till
2644: still playing and trying to cover the whole map...

i'm pushing all cargo through only one factory, sawmill, refinery, power plant (that are all located in only one 20x20 area at the corner of the map ) and moving the goods all diagonal across the map to a town on the other corner of the map

and yeah till now (covered 65% of the map) the systems flows like hell

C:\Program Files\OpenTTD: 126MB - contains 4 different builds.
C:\MinGW\home: 176MB - 2 different versions of OTTD source code plus a few patches. If you count the whole MinGW folder (since OTTD is the only reason I have it installed), that's 345MB.
My Documents folder - 363MB.

Mine is 615 MB

It is a patched version, and I keep the savegames in the same folder as the game to keep them organised. Only stables and nightlies use my home/jake/OpenTTD folder.

I have a lot of redundant and ancient NewGRFs in there, plus dozens of saves (the save folder alone is 330 mb)

My OpenTTD directory in my Documents directory is no more than 466 MB which also includes all my OpenTTD installations that are managed by OpenTTD Auto Update. On the other hand I have 1,55 GB of source code checkouts with object files, intellisense database files etc. that are left over from development of various OpenTTD patches.
